To whom It May Concern:

I would heartily recommend Pete Englehorn of Rogue Custom Sheds.

First, I found the website very informative and easy to navigate (www.roguecustom.com). When first beginning research into my shed needs, I found this an extremely non-threatening way to gather information; I did not have to worry about the face-to-face methods of a high pressure salesman. (Later, when I met Pete, he did not fit this description anyway. In fact, he actually talked me out of some things that would have shown a greater profit for him, but not necessarily have met my needs. Still, as a single woman in today' s world, I have learned to always be on the lookout for the opposite.)

Pete worked within my budget and produced a high-quality building in less time than anticipated. As the daughter of a carpenter, I appreciate the craftsmanship that ensures a long-lasting product. The shed was also meticulously painted to match my freshly-painted home, and now sits proudly as a work of art in my back yard! The work site was left in neat condition every day.

As impressed as I am with my outbuilding, I am much more impressed by Pete's work ethic. There was some additional labor to my job: The site was not truck accessible, and materials had to be hand-carried; Also, there was an existing shed (full of wasps) that had to be knocked down. Pete was not phased by any of it. I have had other potential workers, in various businesses (brush-cutting, demolition, et cetera) who have flat-out refused the aspect of additional labor, or doubled the estimate. Pete's can-do attitude was a blessing.

I have already asked Pete for an estimate on another job. Repeat business is probably the strongest recommendation any customer can offer. I know that any work he does will be of the highest quality, and that he is a man of his word.

This past week Pete Engelhorn of Rogue Custom Sheds-n-Outbuildings built a 10 X 12 shed for us in our back yard.

Not only did he do an excellent job, he finished it a full day ahead of schedule!  The finished project is very attractive and matches the siding and roof of our house perfectly.

Pete takes pride in his work and has an impeccable work ethic. He was very professional but also has a wonderful personality and was a joy to have around.

I would highly recommend Pete to anyone who would like to have him work for them (and have in fact already done so).

The orientation related to the materials and construction methods to be used prior to signing the contract and building the shed was very helpful in knowing exactly what we were purchasing.

A question from more than one client: "How come some builders restrict their buildings to small sizes, to a maxim width of only 8 feet wide and if they have any eve overhang, it's only a few inches (funny, and stubby)?" We don't restrict our clients to "small buildings with stubby eves". In part other builders lack imagination and only build 'boring, low end, size restrictive sheds". And the other part of the equation is the fact that if they build in total off site, they hall them down the road (making those staples & nails come loose??). We feel that (due to the fact that we build only custom buildings, the client should be able to exercise their want's as they wish, without those restrictions.
